Italian Meat and Cheese Antipasti Grazing Platter by Hample
Ever wondered what a Hample Meat & Cheese Grazing Hamper looks like unboxed and placed on an antipasti food board.. well I received a wonderful thank you email and photo from a customer and wanted to share it..

Hi Adriana, I just wanted to say “Grazie infinite” !
I was visiting friends in Guildford for a weekend get-together and wanted to take something special. What could I take I thought ? I know, I’ll take a Hample and we can have an authentic Italian grazing platter board for our Sunday afternoon piccy tea !
We took advantage of the October heat wave and went for a nice long walk. We’d built up a nice appetite and were looking forward to our Italian feast. We quickly unwrapped the freshly sliced Italian cured meats, Italian cheeses, sundried tomatoes and olives. The smells and aromas when we open the vacuum packaging was like walking around an Italian deli in the heart of Italy.. you could say it was like opening an Italian Bottega in a box ! Also thanks for marking on the packaging items which contained nuts, one of my friends has a nut allergy so it helped us plate up a separate nut free food board.
The selection of cured meats you’d included, Mortadella, Coppa, Ventricina, Parma and Napoli were mouth watering.. we all had a different favourite combination ! As you know I’m not a big fan of cheeses however I did like the Fontal cheese and the Provolone Piccante cheese, you may have converted me ! My friends loved the Pecorino Toscano, Taleggio and Mozzarella cheese, they did ask for some Gorgonzola next time !

Oh yes, and the pesto.. wow what can I say it was the best pesto we’ve ever eaten, it was brimming full of with Italian flavours.. bread smothered in pesto with a slice of parma ham wrapped around a chuck of Provolone Piccante cheese and a sun dried tomato dripping in olive oil.. my taste buds were living the dream !
It was meant to be a grazing antipasti hamper, but it was more like an Italian banquet.. or should I say banchetto italiano ! We had all the ingredient to make our own truly authentic Italian meat & cheese platter boards better than any Italian restaurant this side of the Dolomites.. oh and of course we had a glass or two of wine to go with it, well bottles, not glasses ! Having some Fonzies and Crostini Italian nibbles were a nice touch too.. they helped us finish off the last bit of wine in the bottle !
A Hample Italian antipasti meat & cheese hamper is definitely the way to guarantee a repeat invite.. you could say it was like having a taste of Italy delivered to your doorstep !

Hample is officially 1!! We’ve had a busy first year here at Hample HQ, and so many changes!!
Last August I sold my busy and bustling Italian shop and deli that I started by scratch! Back in 2010, I found a lovely old butchers shop, harassed a newly retired butcher until he agreed to take a chance in me as a tennant, set about finding the best Italian suppliers and sat on eBay for weeks collecting tables, chairs, shelving, alessi teapots and original 1950s Italian movie posters and lobby cards. I even paired the shelves in my back garden and - as a single mum with nothing more than a fiat punto - carried the painted shelves from my house to the shop! Read more as Hample celebrates it's first year of trading !
